Elaine McMilian is a writer and musician from Independence, Missouri. She writes essays, poems, journals and emails as a way to figure out this journey we’re all on. She has performed in a variety of musical genres and projects, and also as a solo artist. She self-produced two albums of original songs, “Insomnia,” and “The Messenger.”
